Building Analysis Report Release 2.0  Setup Download Instructions with file links

Click on the link todownload the setup.. This file contains the latest revisions to Release 2.0 of The Building Analysis Report. When download is finished open the file and click unzip to install Release 2.0 CBAR.

When you open the program, click on the Help button on the Login Page for instructions on running the Building Analysis Report.

You will be asked for a User Name and Password.  Select ADMIN from the User Name list and type admin in the Password box to start the system.

Building Analysis Report Release 2.0 requires User Account Control to be disabled before installation on the following operating systems:

Disable UAC Windows 7/8 Through User Account Control Settings
This is the method that should be used by most users wanting to disable UAC.

  1. Go to User Account Control Settings.
  2. Type in UAC, or go to the System and Security applet.
  3. Click on the "Change User Account Control Settings" link.disable-uac-win7-1
  4. To turn off UAC, move the slider to the Never notify position, and then click OK.  If you're prompted for an administrator password or confirmation, type the password or provide confirmation.disable-uac-win7-2
  5. To turn UAC back on, move the slider to choose when you want to be notified, and then click OK.  If you're prompted for an administrator password or confirmation, type the password or provide confirmation.
  6. You will need to restart your computer for UAC to be turned off.
  7. After HomeTech Advantage is successfully installed your UAC can be turned back on using the methods above without affecting the program.
  8. There are instructions on how to run the program in the Help File that can be accessed from the Login form and the Help Menu. When you first open the program, you will be asked for the default user name and password.  Select ADMIN from the user name drop-down, and enter admin as the password.

Disable User Account Control - Windows Vista - Using Control Panel

  1. Open Control Panel.
  2. Under User Account and Family settings click on the "Add or remove user account".

  3. Click on one of the user accounts, for example you can use the Guest account.
  4. Under the user account click on the "Go to the main User Account page" link.

  5. Under "Make changes to your user account" click on the "Change security settings" link.

  6. In the "Turn on User Account Control (UAC) to make your computer more secure" click to unselect the "Use User Account Control (UAC) to help protect your computer". Click on the Ok button.

  7. You will be prompted to reboot your computer. Do so when ready.

  8. After HomeTech Advantage is successfully installed your UAC can be turned back on using the methods above without affecting the program.
